Dutch artist Sidney Waerts (1976) inspires us with both his paintings and murals. While in his previous work he mostly focussed on the outside world and the effects of progress, technology and our increasingly faster consumer society to which he tried to relate, in his new series he takes a different approach.

Instead of focusing on the outside world, the process of changing his inner world is now put central. This change is not only related to the desire for inner peace, but is also his path to self-healing.

Coming from a 15-year career in advertising Sidney over the past years decided to fully focus on creating art. Sidney’s work has been shown in galleries, on international fairs and museums in - amongst other cities - Amsterdam, L.A., New York, Melbourne and Basel.
